Environment

The island of reunion is a hot, sunny humid destination, the temperature never dropping below 25 degrees Celsius and never rising above 34 degrees. On a hot day the water has been known to rise up to 30 degrees Celsius like a hot bath. Although it is a mostly coastal area as you submerge deeper into the island you will find mountains and volcano's towering up into they sky above the biggest mountain piton des neiges rising over 3070 metres above sea level. On the south coast of the island lies an active volcano, which erupted only 6 years ago and there has been at least 180 eruptions in the last 370 years.
