Flora and Fauna

As you merge deeper into the islands lush contents you will find plant species beyond imagination although reunion has all this to offer it is not well known for it's land animal species but you may still find the rare tenrec [a hedgehog like creature], the java deer, snakes, and insects. Reunion is home to many types of birds and many are endangered like the Reunion Harrier and the Reunion Cuckooshrike, the Cuckooshrike being on the critically endangered list as there are only 50 of them in a 29km radius
